[NCBA] 신입생을 위한 NCBA 입학식에 관하여... (힐튼호텔에서 진행됩니다)

NCBA 신입생은 힐튼호텔(Hilton Dublin Kilmainham)에서 진행되는 입학식 및 레벨테스트에
 참여하셔야 합니다. 입학식은 매주 월, 화요일 중 1회 진행되며,
학원홈페이지(www.ncba.ie)에서 Level test 를 예약하셔야 합니다.
입학식 진행 절차는 스텝소개, NCBA 어학원 소개, 자기소개로 진행되며, 비자생성을 위해
필요한 비자(GNIB), 통장개설(bank account), PPSN의 생성 방법을 설명해 드립니다. 
입학식 이후 신입생들은 레벨테스트에 참여하셔야 하며, 레벨테스트 결과에 따라 반을
배정받으시게 됩니다.

NCBA 어학원의 첫주는 입학식 기간이며, 수업기간 25주에 포함되어 있지 않습니다.

NCBA 어학원은 비지니스 전문교육기관입니다. 비지니스코스, 호텔경영, 차이드케어,
사진전문가 코스 등 이 있으며, 각각의 비지니스 코스는 디플로마 과정과 수료증 과정이
있습니다.
비지니스 코스를 참여하기 위해선 IELTS 5.5 이상 또는 동등한 영어능력을 요구하고 있습니다.
* 코스 시작일은 각각의 코스마다 약간의 차이가 있습니다.

NCBA General English의 경우 1교시에는 문법, 2교시에는 토론 및 발표 등의 수업 방식을 채택하고 있으며, 2명의 담당교사의 교차방식으로 수업이 진행됩니다.
수업시간은 월-금요일, 주 15시간 수업이 진행되며, 시간은 다음과 같습니다.  

Early Morning: 8:00am - 11:10am
Late Morning: 11:20am – 14:30pm
Mid Afternoon: 14:40pm – 17:50pm

1년 학생비자 과정은 1249유로 (±191만원)의 비용이며,
이 비용은 25주 수업 + 25주 방학 + 보험비가 포함된 금액입니다.
기타 추가비용은 발생하지 않습니다.

(Business Studies Pathway FETAC Level 5)

The Certificate in Childcare modules offered by NCBA are designed to provide students with the skills needed to work effectively within any childcare setting. The focus of the programme will be to prepare learners to be effective childcare workers, to develop and expand their skills and knowledge base and to enhance their learning and employment opportunities in the childcare sector. This qualification will present opportunities to work in areas such as private childcare, creche facilities, montessori schools and playgroups. It will provide graduates with a high standard of training and assessment leading to a recognised qualification for those pursuing a career in the childcare sector.

Entry Requirements:     • A learner seeking entry to this Level 5 programme does not need a previous formal qualification but should have         relevant work or life experience.      • Potential learners are expected have evidence of their proficiency in English or to have engaged in at least one year         of an English Language programme.     • All learners on this course are required to complete and pass Garda vetting. Certificate in Childcare Modules    1.    Child Development (5N1764):    Learners who successfully complete this module will:     • Explain the holistic development of the child to include physical,cognitive, language, social, emotional, moral,         spiritual, creative and cultural development     • Describe a range of theories of child development and learning to include Piaget, Chomsky, Erikson, Bowlby,         Ainsworth, Pavlov and Skinner     • Describe the influence of family, social, cultural and environmental factors on child development and learning     • Identify the benefits of play to the child’s holistic development and learning mindful of diversity, inclusion and         equality of opportunity     • Describe the contribution of the practitioner/parent/guardian to the development and learning of children in the          home and in the ECCE setting     • Apply theoretical principles of child development in the ECCE setting     • Document children’s developmental progress against normative milestones of development     • Carry out observations in support of programme planning for individual children and groups     • Recommend suitable play activities to promote holistic development and learning     • Evaluate own role and practice in supporting the development and learning of the child   2.    Early Childhood Education and Play:(5N1773)   Learners who successfully complete this module will:     • Outline the types, stages patterns and purposes of children’s play     • Describe a range of theories of play in the context of children’s education to include Psychoanalytic theories          (Freud, Winnicott) and Constructivist theories (Piaget, Vygotsky)     • Evaluate the role of the adult in children’s play     • Explore a child lead approach to meeting the play and educational requirements of children     • Describe different approaches to curriculum development and implementation in the ECCE setting     • Assess the value of equipment, materials, play spaces, both indoors and outdoor in the ECCE setting     • Use a range of reading and storytelling techniques appropriate to different stages of children’s development and         cultural background     • Select relevant play activities and materials appropriate to children’s interest and stage of development and cultural         background     • Implement appropriate curricula which promotes learning and the holistic development of the child     • Reflect on own role and responsibilities when supporting children in their play.   3.    Early Care and Education Practice:(5N1770)   Learners who successfully complete this module will:     • Explain the historical development of the ECCE sector in Ireland     • Outline relevant legislation, policies, practices and procedures pertaining to ECCE provision     • Explain the importance of self awareness and effective interpersonal skills in an ECCE setting     • Explain the rights of the child in the context of an ECCE setting     • Communicate effectively with children, families and colleagues     • Implement practices and activities to promote equality and value diversity in an ECCE setting     • Implement administration and operational procedures in an ECCE setting to include daily logs, routines          and record keeping     • Participate effectively in team work in an ECCE setting     •  Implement care and education routines with children in the ECCE setting     • Maintain a quality ECCE environment that complies with relevant regulations and standards     • Reflect on personal strengths and weaknesses when working with children, families and team members. Students will complete their visa requirements by studying 3 more modules at FETAC level 5.   4.    Communications(5N0690)   Learners who successfully complete this module will:     • Develop an awareness of the essential role played by communication in human interaction     • Acquire communication skills relevant to vocational and personal development     • Understand the communicative principles and practices involved in gathering and relaying information     • Acquire the skills and confidence to convey and interpret meaning, in writing, orally and visually     • Develop a critical awareness of communications messages and media     • Explore the use of modern communication and information technology, and its application in personal and          vocational life.   5.    Work Experience:(5N1356)   Learners who successfully complete this module will:     • Develop critical awareness of the changing nature of work      • Set achievable goals for work experience     • Utilise learning opportunities presented in the work environment     • Apply work skills to consolidate learning in the vocational area     • Understand how work is planned and organised at different levels in a specific vocational area     • Appreciate the importance of safety and welfare in the workplace     • Develop capabilities, both personal and vocational, to successfully meet challenges in the workplace     • Review career choices in the light of their own aspirations, experience, abilities and available options     • Explore future employment opportunities (including opportunities for self employment, contract work, work          in the social economy, etc).   6.    Business Administration Skills:(5N1610)   Learners who successfully complete this module will:     • Develop an understanding of the structure of an organisation     • Appreciate the impact of the factors which affect a business organisation     • Understand the financial aspects of business administration     • Appreciate the functions of human resources within a business organisation     • Undertake administrative duties in relation to meetings     • Process business documents (in relation to sales, purchases, stock control and insurance).   7.    Marketing Practice:(5N1400)   Learners who successfully complete this module will:     • be familiar with the principles and practices of marketing     • be able to work effectively as a marketing assistant     • understand the functions of a marketing department     • understand the role of marketing in everyday life.   8.    Behavioural Studies (5N1351)   Learners who successfully complete this module will:     • identify the factors which influence perception     • understand how consumers learn about company products and services     • explain the motivation for different purchasing decisions     • investigate the extent to which personality influences purchasing decision making     • understand the formation of attitude and change in consumer decision making     • analyse the impact of social groups and social class on behaviour     • appreciate the influence of cultural differences (nationally and internationally) on business practices     • understand the interaction of individuals and groups within organisations   9.    Human Resources: (5N3586)   Learners who successfully complete this module will:     • understand how the Human Resource Management function has evolved and developed     •  explain the recruitment and selection process     • be capable of designing job descriptions and person specifications for approval by a Human Resource Manager.     • understand how short listing of candidates for interview is carried out     • be capable of planning and structuring job interviews     •  appreciate recruitment and selection techniques     • demonstrate how to develop various Human Resource policies and procedures in an organisation     • appreciate issues involved in dealing with employees at work.   10.    Customer Service: (5N0972)   Learners who successfully complete this module will:     • Understand the role of customer service in organisational effectiveness     • Understand the role and responsibilities of a representative of an organisation and work effectively as part of a team     • Acquire a range of verbal and non- verbal skills in order to meet customer needs, handle customer complaints          and deliver good customer care     • Become familiar with consumer protection legislation     • Appreciate the rights of all customers regardless of gender, marital status, family status, sexual orientation,          religion, age, disability, race or culture.          < Childcare_FETAC  Timetable 2013 > Childcare -
